4. Extravagance in Eating and Drinking.

It came in the Sunnah of Tirmidhee with a Saheeh isnaad (1) from the hadeeth of Miqdam Ibn Ma'diy Karib رضى الله عنه who said, I heard the Messenger of Allaah صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ saying:

" مَا مَلَأَ آدَمِيٌّ وِعَاءً شَرًّا مِنْ بَطْنٍ، بِحَسْبِ ابْنِ آدَمَ أُكُلَاتٌ يُقِمْنَ صُلْبَهُ، فَإِنْ كَانَ لَا مَحَالَةَ، فَثُلُثٌ لِطَعَامِهِ، وَثُلُثٌ لِشَرَابِهِ، وَثُلُثٌ لِنَفَسِهِ ".

The human does not fill any container worse than his belly. It is sufficient for the son of Aadam to eat what will support his back. If this is not possible, then a third should be reserved for food, a third reserved for drink, and third reserved for his breathing.

Commentary:

The Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ blamed in this hadeeth, extravagance in Eating or Drinking and described the belly that it's a container, and there is no evil more than this container, if it's filled...!

Some people are Extravagant in their eating and drinking and he spends on it in Ramadan in multiples more than he spends in other months and this Extravagance calls for pain and diseases. Some of the Salaf used to say: Allaah gathered medicine all of it in the half of the ayah:

وَكُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ وَلَا تُسۡرِفُوٓاْۚ

and eat and drink but do not waste by Extravagance. (2)

For verily the disease, most time is you see it can be from (excessive) foods or drinks (3).

What Is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that you can buy, sell and exchange directly, without an intermediary like a bank. Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, originally described the need for “an electronic payment system based on cryptographic proof instead of trust.” Each and every Bitcoin transaction that’s ever been made exists on a public ledger accessible to everyone, making transactions hard to reverse and difficult to fake. That’s by design: Core to their decentralized nature, Bitcoins aren’t backed by the government or any issuing institution, and there’s nothing to guarantee their value besides the proof baked in the heart of the system. “The reason why it’s worth money is simply because we, as people, decided it has value—same as gold,” says Anton Mozgovoy, co-founder & CEO of digital financial service company Holyheld.

To pay the bills, Mr. Durov is issuing investors $1 billion to $1.5 billion of company debt, with the promise of discounted equity if the company eventually goes public, the people briefed on the plans said. He has also announced plans to start selling ads in public Telegram channels as soon as later this year, as well as offering other premium services for businesses and users.
